First Open Water bass of 2014
 

Finally today the small lake I live on opened up enough to take a few casts. Nailed 3 lmb in about an hour... no giants, best one went about 2 pounds but it's great to finally be fishing open water. 1/8th ounce white twister tail Roadrunner and a 1/4 ounce Rat-L-Trap were what they wanted today. A few pics to prove it happened.

Nice catch Jim! Bass are on the feed. Spring is in the air. Ahhhh, the feeling and sound of drag ripping is on the horizon!!!!:D

Sweet colors on those larrys. Great stuff dude... You def live right on that pond too... Looks like you can cast from the house in that one pic!

Thanks guys - the house is about 50 feet from the water - looks closer since it is up higher. Will be back at it tomorrow afternoon at a different little lake on a local WMA.
