Raritan Bay

Fished the bay for the first time Saturday..Had high hopes with an afternoon outgoing tide and some warmer weather. Could have used a little more sun to warm the water up! Soaked clams for about 3 hours not even a pick-up. Water is still really cold and did not see the signs of life in the water that were there last year at this time. Cold winter and spring looks like its pushed every thing back a few weeks, But a great day still ... time well spent with my oldest son.

Any time spent with your kid is good. I live near the bay and fished few times already and nothing to show either. Gonna be a good bite when it finally breaks open but it's going to be a few weeks yet. Still to cold either tide.
