Anyone know of any lakes with open water? Looking to get out ASAP! :) :)

Amen to that brother! I'm hoping to get out some time this weekend as well. There is always the "non-closed' sections of the rivers for some shore action at least.

There MUST be a lake with some access, haha. I refuse to accept that I need to go from shore, lol.

As of Tuesday before the rain, Pompton Lake was about 75% open. Would guess more now.

I fished it from shore last 2 days after work, Nada only dancing carp. Will b there again tomm in yak

To be honest, never fished pompton but it sounds like a great idea... I'll be out tomorrow or Saturday... Anyone else in? Pre season meet up?? We can throw down for a small pool ;)

Good to know Pompton Lake is open, I was thinking Manasquan this weekend honestly...is Round Valley still locked in?

Monksville n GWL are both locked up with probably almost safe ice. I'll be cleaning my boat and checking my gear this weekend.

GWL has a long way to go, I was on it last night and its still frozen right up to the banks.....Still some remnants from the meet'n'greet on the ice also ;)
