Spruce Run Fillling Up!?!?

Looks like they may have cut back on the releases from Spruce to let it fill up. Rose over a foot since Monday. Could it be that spring is really coming? Does anyone know if it started to open up from the ice at all yet? Can't wait.

It had around 15" of ice in Tuesday, at least 8" of black ice under the crap ice. You won't be able to launch a boat there any time soon.

Wow that's a lot o' ice. Thanks for the update. Wonder how it will go if they let it keep filling up...gap from shore to the ice i suppose.

Thanks for the info.

How did you get this information?
I have to drive over to Van Sickle Road to see how high the water is.

Here's the link....it is usually updated daily but sometimes there is a couple day lag. They also Have RV and flow info on some of the local rivers/streams. I've been using it for years and it's been good. Just checked today and they are back to releasing. Normal Pool is like 274 ft.
