Crappie fish fry!!
 

Had a craving for one of the few fish I like to eat yesterday the crappie, so I headed out to my go to crappie pond. Man I don't know if anyone got out yesterday but the fish were feeding heavy! Started out with a few slob perch and a 3 1/2 pound largie, what an awsome fight on 4 lb. Test and and ice rod! Wound up with about 8 largemouth, about 6 jumbo perch, a few sunnies, and about 40 crappie fishing from 12:30 pm till 5:30. Once we hit the crappie it was game on!!!!! Kept about 15 between me and pops for delicious ice water crappie fillets. This is a mountain pond so the water is crystal clear spring fed which is a must for me to eat fish. Oh and its a 25 min walk to get to the spot which keeps it under pressured. Did anybody else get out yesterday man it seemed like the fish were extremely active.
