mad gaffer blackfish report fri. 1/10
We re not done yet , we had a good day with bigger than average fish . we had to go a little deeper but it payed off Capt. Brendan Lorino from the island Curent and his own charter boat "Sound Bound " based New Roshell ny was our high-hook with 10 keeper up to 8 lbs and his friend Jared Sint esq. had 6 , Frank Qeu also a couple over the limit Ben Felzer , Bob Thomson , and John Janelli all had limits (all over limit fish were released ) John Jenelli scored the big one just over 10 lbs. others had 1,2,or 3 . a lot of nice fish 3to 4 lbs not uncommon . big improvement ( last trip sun only 2 fish ) hopefully the weather will moderate and we will be able to fish a little longer . we will be sailing weather permitting every day . call for info & res.
