North end is coming along nicely. I'd think safe with a day or so. Eggshell ice starting on main body. Its a good start.

Double check ur ice on Monksville this week b4 venturing out..Daytime weather forcasts for West Milford area is for between 37 & 44 degree's daytime temps from Friday the 27 till at least Sunday or Monday..Then I believe real cold snap due back..Play safe don't rush it..

Ooooo thise nice long days sittin there waiting for that one flag to finally go up, you walk up to the whole look at the spool and its just peelingggggg are a comin boys lookin really good this week! Skunksville ice did get better through the week. However its still a few days of good cold temps until I'd call it safe.

As of Jan. 01 skunksville appears to be safe. Walked out a fair distance when I went for coffee. I was alone and without drill so didn't venture too far. I'd say its worth some serious investigation for anyone who wants to hit hard water. The north side has been frozen solid all week.
