A twice-delayed trip is finally a go for this weekend. I'm hoping for some steelies or brown trout... Any last-minute tips, advice or reports?

Good luck man, lotta fish up high fresher in the lower end of the river like mitch said get on em! Keep us posted myself im thinkin bout comin up tomor night fishin til sun still on the fence though

River at Pineville s currently running at 1,210 cfs up from yesterdays 1,040 cfs.

I just got back from there the upper river is full of fish the bead bite was slow but we managed to put fish on the bank good luck

Don't be afraid to use small flies, size 8-10 stone flies egg pattern flies. Good luck brother!!! You deserve to catch a TROPHY. Can't go wrong with sucker spawn or fresh egg sacs. Get em my friend!!!!
