:) We definately need it , no matter how much or how little we get....
A 1/2" to 1" per week would be much more ideal but with the current conditions
ill take anything at this point....We can just be thankful that these drought conditions didn't occur anywhere near the summer, or we would have more dead trout than live ones...I'm pretty sure were gettin a bit more rain next week also....This added water will just add a few more weeks to my river walking excursions:D

Glad it's coming coulda used it a while ago!!! But to put a positive spin on it we need it to restore water levels for spring! Wishin the time away for spring already, last year I couldn't wait for fall and it was basically a bust this year for the most part! Depending on the rain/snow we get from now till spring will determine HOW THAT GOES AS WELL!

These are a few pictures I took this afternoon as I drove past Wanaque Reservoir.. . As you can see the water level is approximately 15 feet below normal ..Even though you cannot fish this place ever, just seeing this made me very sad.........All this dry land is usually covered by water!!!!. ....As much as I hate the winter weather, I really hope we get clobbered with tons of snow, otherwise we're going to be in a lot of trouble in the spring. This place looks like the Grand Canyon......

Holy crap, I've driven past that res a bunch too and damn that water is low. Wow, imagine fishing the little bit of water left, it would be nuts, so many fish that have never seen a lure in one spot. Oh well!
