Last Few Trips, Couple Nice Trout......

Been working way to much lately but found some time to get out and wet a line. First trip was to the s/b last week. Picked up 2 small bows and one that may be my biggest of the season. :) Wasn't as productive as my last trip but well worth it anyway. Also saw a beast of a hornet!! Had to be 2" long and I almost walked right into the damn thing!!! That would've been bad, lol.......

Second trip was some early mornin fishin on the pequest today. I've been wanting to hit some new water and I had never been there so I explored around a bit. Found a good spot and walked a good 1-1.5 mile stretch and picked up 3 decent fish, all bows. Def a nice morning out, not a single other fisherman until my walk back. Here's a couple of the fish, and some bonus wild life, lol......

Nice pics. That frog is a Northern Leopard Frog.

That species is in decline and nobody knows for sure why. Theories range from habitat loss and habitat fracturing to household and industrial pollutants to diseases originating from tropical aquarium frogs. Perhaps a mixture of all the above reasons.
