Penns Creek Pennsylvania 11-1,2,3-13:
 

I fished the lower section in Weikert Friday morning and got 2 browns and a bunch of smallmouth, fished the upper section by Coburn in the afternoon and got one brown.
On Saturday Wilson and I fished from Coburn down through Poe Paddy State Park on a 4 mile run and did very poorly. The water was SO LOW, hard pressed to find any water and when we did we couldn't connect, a lot of follows and swipes.
Sunday we bagged early instead of fishing the 2 mile no kill stertch, thought it wasn't going to change in one day.
1st time getting shut down out there, normally put up double digits with ease.

The colors on that brown are stunning! Sorry you guys couldn't connect with more fish, especially on a great river like Penns. Trout fishing is going to be tough everywhere for the rest of the year if we don't get any rain soon.

All foliage and not many fish.
2 dink brown trout and about 20 leaves.
