Golden Eagle - Tuesday - Stripers - Stripers & Monster Blues
 

It was good to get back to fishing today and the STRIPERS & MONSTER BLUES cooperated.

We had over a dozen STRIPERS with a couple of customers catching their limits of STRIPERS.

We also good fishing for the MONSTER BLUES to 20lbs. Everything was caught on jigs (ava 47's, croc's or swim shad).

All in all a very good day of fishing.

The weather for the next several days looks good and hopefully we can build on today's STRIPER catch.

Great to see the stripers again, very high keeper ratio. Guess who had the only short? :) To me though the real story is the continuing saga of the huge blues. That first stop, man! All 16 to 20lb+ fish, moving very fast, all on top and all insanely wild & angry, ripping off tons of line and going every which way. Extremely hard to boat when they're hooked so high in the water, lots of bite offs. Later on we found the "smaller" blues, only 10 to 16lbs. Great day, great to be back!
