Hopped around the river all day for my first fall trout outing of the year. The conditions were nice; gin clear low water and few leaves on the surface. Pulled the first bow outta one of my honey holes but it was infested with suckerfish so i moved on to a longer shallow stretch. threw a spinner and had some small fish sniff it and turn away. Last spot i hit yielded 2 bows shortly after arrival along with some smallies. tried moving up and downstream from there but no luck so i came back, nailed one more bow for the dinner table, and more smallies before calling it a day. thats 4 trout, a handful of bass up to 13" and endless amounts of sunnies, all on trout magnets of various colors.

Nicely done dude. The rivers seems to be the place to be this time of year.
