Fishermen/ Tue. nite stripers

If I only had a drift. Last nites fishing was a workout for every person on the boat, at the end of the nite everyone on the boat knew that eel fishing with no current is not easy. I probably made over 50 different calls for lines up only to move 50 feet or less and catch a few and do it all over again, the fish would not sit still and we had to chase them. Some guys did very good and others not so much. Leading the way was Steve Moran a mate from the partyboat Cock Robin who was out on a trip with his father and friends and had 3 keepers and he missed a couple, he brought them along to carry the cooler. The pool winner was big Jim from A.C. with a 20 plus pounder and there were scattered limits around the boat. Mixed in with the keepers were a fair amount of shorts and a few blues. The weather looks good for tonite and we will be sailing at 6;30. For info 908-930-2335.

Here's some pics from last night. Jimmy finally got the big one, and more keepers for others on board. Capt. Dan worked the controls all night to get on the fish. Many people don't even realize how tough it was to fish last night, let alone catch.

Sounds like the "Fisherman" gets it done in any conditions.

You're right Capt. Dan, Chris and I were there to drive Stephen and carry the cooler for him lol! On the serious side, it was a real pleasure fishing with you and mates Lou & Dennis last night. Clearly you don't let fuel concerns get in the way of finding and staying on the fish. We certainly recognized and appreciated your efforts! A special thanks to mate Lou as he took VERY GOOD care of all of us fishing the bow. He's a good guy!

I was only able to catch enough shorts to keep me busy but it was fun getting "a lesson" from my son! :D

We will definitely be back out with you real soon.
