Capsize a 31 foot Fountain??.. Thats a serious boat, and I'm sure can handle some seriously rough water... It may just be me, but I have a feeling these guys were not heeding the prevailing sea conditions.. Probably moving way too fast and toying with the rough stuff instead of respecting it.. Just my uninformed opinion for whatever its worth...In any case, I'm glad they are ok...

That was well offshore - I thought it was the inlet.

Doesnt seem to make much sense.

news 12 new jersey 1000 news I have WAYYYY better video than coast guard! Capt and crew cool as cucumbers! Gave the J2 a nice plug! ill post video on nj fishing as soon as I can. Dave

no spoilers but we have fish a few times late this season up to 12 miles south and east of the Manasquan. we have been more east the j2 has been more south than us, at times we cant even see her. thank goodness the 2 men in the water hung on till help arrived. always keep a 4 pack of life preservers on the front seat. always wear my douchey self inflatable when im by myself now after hitting that big piece of submerged boardwalk and almost sinking earlier this year.

Leave it to the fishermen to save others while other officials only want to hand out tickets and fine the people who make a living on the ocean. Instead of busting fishermen maybe those Fish and Game folks should team up with the Coast Guard to actually help people.
GREAT JOB GUYS!!! Thank God we have people like you out there who will drop everything to save others.
