Weekend Update ???LOL
 

Well with the colder weather at night lately what's everybody's opinion on how the weekends gonna be? Biting or Not? Maybe a week of colder temps will kinda turn the fish on instead of just a day or two (like the last two weekends) Was a brutal weekend of fishing for me personally fished two full days and ended up with one fish! Enjoyed the time on the water but can't take too many more weekends like that!!!!!

I say, if you have the time, go! Gonna be cold soon. Then its a real "choice" whether or not to head out. :)

You gotta get out now! Nice warming trend from tomorrow through Saturday. There will be some epic catching this weekend!!!! Get out before the possible rain Saturday/ Sunday!!!

Approaching cold front saturday night means saturday should be good. overcast skies and some showers would make make it even better. Agreed last weekend was brutal: bluebird skies, high pressure right overhead made things rough. Even the sunfish weren't in the mood:D

Cold nights r no biggie long as the days are in the 60's/70's. Change of plan from summer is no early morning trips. When its cold in the am, early bird definitely doesn't get the worm 'cause the worm is hiding:) I wait until mid/late afternoon after things have warmed up. Water takes awhile to warm and will be at its warmest last few hours of daylight. That's the time to go.

saturday is gonna be a good day and possibly sunday too depending on when the front moves thru. the walleye contest is this saturday into sunday on LH I will be out super early saturday cause I got a wedding in the late afternoon and then reception so I dont know if Im gonna be able to wake up on sunday to fish. I think the cold weather turns the fish on and I personally LOVE IT for fishing, hate it for real life tho. The idiots get off the water cause its too cold in the a.m. for them, and theres little trafffic. So far this year the bite is SUPER HOT first light til about 8 am then it starts shutting down, only the early birds get a good worm, the guys later have to work hard for their fish........hopefully saturday I have a monster eyeball on between 5 and 6 am and I can go check it into the weigh station and go striper fish the rest of the morning. Dale I had to work so hard to put fish in the boat Saturday w Wilson coming up I didnt even feel like fishing on Sunday, I hate weekends like that, Id love to go out tomorrow morning, got that damn work thing that gets in the way M-F tho :(

Hey buddy, great fishing with ya Sat and sorry you got the Spruce Goose. ( I like that one) I guess I got it to cause Tommy got the two fish in our boat. Way to not take the Goose laying down and going right back for another shot. Probably won't be out on Sat got some other things I got to do, maybe Sun. See ya on the water.
