River Expedition 9/16.......
Spent a couple hours yesterday on a river expedition, lol. Brought 2 batteries along and just kept goin and goin. According to my My Tracks app it was approximately 6.5 mile roundtrip. Found some decent action during the trip. Total of 10 pike and 3 lmb between me and my bud. Spinnerbaits, cranks, swim baits did the damage. Seemed like all the pike were the same length, mid 20s. Some were thicker than others. Biggest bass was about 2#. No big girls today but a steady pick of decent fish on a day that started out rainy and got progressively nicer. Can't complain..........

Nice report man. How were the conditions of the water? Back to normal yet after last weeks rain?
PS: Love the net shot! |

Re: River Expedition 9/16.......
Thanx! I never liked netting fish cause of the fin damage. But, the rubberized net def minimizd the effect and make for an easier CPR.
Conditions looked good. Clear in the shallower areas, stained in the deeper holes but the level and current were back to pre-storm conditions. |
