A Couple Of Passaic River Pike

Hit the river for a couple of hours today. Scored two quick fish on the yellow bomber. After that I switched over to the buzzbait and missed a couple of strikes. I then proceeded to throw several other lures(spook, fluke, rattletrap) with no success. I finally was able to connect with a third fish using a large chartreuse spinnerbait. Here are the pictures

I like how in the last pic you are pointing at the pike. Trust me, there's no missing that one, lol. Nice catches. I prospected the 2 bridges area from land today as I've never been up the river that far. I was impressed with the tree cover, coves and scenery. Unfortunately there's the usual pr trash, but it's much nicer further up the river from the Elmwood Park area. I can see how you passaic fishermen enjoy that river. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
