I told my wife there are 1,700 dams in New Jersey, she said, it's a wonder any water flows at all in this state.

The only thing we have more of is toll booths!!! And we know how those help traffic flow!.

seriously....That's a large number for such a small state. Never realized there were that many.

Without a couple hundred or so dams, we would'nt have too many lakes or reserviors to fish....Just a thought....I agree that most if not all river dams should be removed....Just don't take away our precious viors

Really... Damn! Dammed if ya do and dammed if ya don't. Damn shame there are so many that we really don't give a damn bout having!
