FISHERMEN/Saturdays fishing Report....
 

Finally a nice showing of customers, weather was great, no rain, all perfect with one exception...The fishing wasn't up to par today!

Didn't have a fast drift but with a little wind against the tide the current still was running hard, causing major tangles. We did pick away on some shorts and keepers, a couple very nice keepers including another 6 pound pool fish, but not what I would call good fishing.

Got through slack and the change hoping the bite would turn on, we caught a few then it was back to a 2 knot drift! Good thing I quit drinking, although I may have to start again after today's disappointment. :D

Capt. Dan has had excellent fishing for Croakers and Porgies the past few nights, good family fun and excellent eating fish. Weather looks great to come take advantage of a fantastic fishery!!
