Re: fish replicas
Northeast Taxidermy up in Middletown Connecticut does some of the best work I've seen, I had my first 40" pike done there. Their glass mounts are a little pricy ($16.00 per inch) but they look amazing. here's a link to their photo gallery: http://northeasttaxidermy.com/gallery/fish

.
Been wondering about that myself. I did a web search and this company "Elite" looks like they do good work. http://www.fishscaletaxidermy.com/El...r_Replica.html I was considering having a replica of an 18" bass I caught earlier this summer made/ At $20 an inch, it looks like it will cost about $400. http://www.fishscaletaxidermy.com/Page_4.html http://www.fishscaletaxidermy.com/im...9d68d1aef3.jpg |

I think that's def the way to go now a days, they look really good and last a lot longer than a skin mount plus the bonus of releasing that trophy back into the water it's a win / win all the way around!!!!
