Lake Placid Vacation 7/29-8/4
Had a very nice vacation at Lake Placid, NY last week with my family and my long-time fishing buddy's family. Brought the boat and took the kids out, they had a blast. Scenery is beautiful, and the weather is fantastic without the heat & humidity of a Jersey summer. The lake has every flavor of trout in it including lakers in the 125' depths... Jamie caught a rainbow on a small crankbait and we saw several others cruising shallow bays. It also has a great population of smallies and perch. I caught a couple big yellow perch and a decent smallmouth, among tons of small fish between all of us.

Good stuff! Get the kids going early! I like the shots of alternating perspectives...

Great pics and report dude!!! I was up there this winter for a few days, 50 mph winds and -25 degrees kept me from ice fishing. Scenery is amazing!!!

Love that area of the country...Awesome job with the kids. I remember those days well....priceless as they say. Mine are 21 and 19 now but still get to fish with them every once in a while.
