Golden Touch - Boat Limit to 8 lbs + JP's Banana
 

We chartered the Golden Touch yesterday left the dock at 6 and headed south. The morning bite was much better with most of the larger ones coming over the rail before 10 AM.

Jerry from SI landed a nice 8 pound fattie (see pics) and Vic had numerous fish in the 4-5 pound range. Rich was hot with his limit being reached early and his buddy the "Spro Guy"...must have had the Bucktailboy maloika. Most had 7-8 keepers (only keeping our legal limit) and now THE REAL BANANA...

So my partner, JP is right next to me and all I kept seeing is "swing and a miss" then "what I am doing wrong" was his line for the next hour. 4 hours into the trip I had my limit and JP had ZERO in the box...I take a break and get a sandwich in his bag and what do I see...you got it a ripe BANANA...

Never believed in that but he finished the day with 1 keeper just barely making it. As usually we had plenty of laughs and met some great fishermen.

Wow... That bananna is a seriuous boating and fishing ediqutte infraction :eek: :eek:

JP needs to be put in time out :D

he's lucky they did not throw him overboard. I've seen a fight and near fight on boats over a banana in the past. wow

I won't even allow any thing with a picture or the word banana on my boat. I even check everyone's sunblock to make sure it's not the one with banana :) oh JP you poor thing it could take several trips to get rid of the bad mojo

I didn't know about bananas and boats. Silly me, I've heard of peanuts and race cars but never knew the banana thing.

If you didn't know, die question is....why did you put the banana in JD's bag and not your own ?
