Its Raining Pike 8/3
 

Hit the river yesterday in the am despite the rain. When we got there the water was up and movin pretty quick. Wasn't expecting to catch much but tried anyway. Caught the first one within 20min and kept right on goin, just like the rain, lol.

By the end we caught 8 total and a bonus lmb. Only prob was, they were all mid to low 20" fish. Had one biggun smash my lure only to wrap himself up in a thick patch of weeds and manage to shake the hook loose while I was motoring towards him to try and hand land em. :mad:

Not sure what it was, but the little guys where hot yesterday, even with the bad conditions. Even the largie was small, lol. Oh well, can't catch a trophy everyday, that's why they're called trophies. Good couple hours out on a rainy morning........

Nice job sometimes the rain turns em' on!!! Smaller or not seemed like a trip out on the water with a good bite!!!!
