Passaic River 7/15
 

Hit the river for an hour this morning before returning to work unfortunately. After being off for 12 days I cant believe its back to the contractor grind. I went upstate NY and gas by me was 3.17 a gallon, now its 3.59 a gallon, WTF!!!! Did something happen while I was gone? And this heat wave sucks! For those of you who enjoy heat like this, YOUR NUTZ!!! You belong in an INSTITUTION!!! YUP, I'm going to say it, I can wait to go ICE-FISHING!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Bring on the fall jigging and old man winter. Anyway, managed 4 Pike in an hour. 2 @ 24 inches, 1 @ 32 inches and another @ 33. The 2 bigguns were nice and thick. Thankfully, somebody has been feeding the Pike in my stretch so they are thicker than previous years catches. :rolleyes: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! TIGHT LINEZ!!!:D :) ;)

Way to go Slammer!!.......I need to get on over to the river and catch me one of those monsters....I live like less than 10 minutes away....will hit it soon enough....Great Job Eddie!!!

Nice work in this heatwave. How bad are the Mosquitos down by you this year? All this rain has them in full-on attack mode by us. I even picked up some 100% DEET yesterday :eek: .

For some reason, it still surprises me to see the size you pull out of your stretch of river. It shows how long you guys have been getting love from the state. Those mid-high 30" fish have some age to them.

great job eddie, at least you can run out for a few casts from work! Way to jump back into the grind and get some lines wet while your at it
