Passaic River channel cats
Does anyone catch them?
Where? Thanks. Mark B. Mark Boriek, Principal Fisheries Biologist NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife Bureau of Freshwater Fisheries PO Box 394 1255 Route 629 Lebanon, NJ 08833 |
Re: Passaic River channel cats
I used to go after them pretty often a few years ago. Caught some beauties to. Last year or two has been pretty slow. TONS of bullheads with an occasional channel mixed in and nothing topping 5#. Then again, I also don't target them as much as I used to. Here's a few of my bigger ones from the last couple seasons.........

I've always wondered about this too. I'm usually too focused on pike when I'm there to actually try, but I figured there are probably some beast cats in there.
