Unfortunately, it was of the backpack-sized snapping turtle variety... and he had a really poor sense of humor about the whole misunderstanding. Hey, Mr. Turtle, if your dry-land cousin, the tortoise, could figure out how to beat a hare in a foot race, you'd think you could figure out that repeatedly trying to take a few of my fingers off really wouldn't help your chances of me getting that hook out for you.
