Captain Cal Belmar Good day of Fluking 7-5-13

Big improvement in fishing, We started fishing at the beach ,we started to have action with a 4 lb. fluke coming over the rail. the water got a little cold. , we moved north. and found some 73 degree water, and the action picked up, we fished over structure and rocks, . Tom Kaprosch of Piscataway NJ had a good day with his pool winning fluke of 5lb. 4 oz. plus he had 4 other keepers , not a bad day of fishing ! ! There were several other nice quality fluke over 4 lbs. come over the rail, also Dave had a 4 pound fluke with 3 other keepers. Some of the group had 3-4 others 1-2 and some had shorts only, as I mentioned earlier a big improvement in fishing, I forgot to mention the nice quality and size of sea bass we caught.. The chartreuses gulps were effective today..
I also forgot to mention that Jerry Whitter of Hightstown NJ this week, won the pool with a fluke close to 5 lbs. Nice fishing Jerry..

No "Magic Hours Fluke "on Saturday afternoon, we have a charter
