Hey guys ..I know the pic was taken by little brother with crappy phone, And the debris on the fish, Well the battle that took place was epic. I posted the story on here. It was a crazy catch on very light tackle and my little brother saved the monster from getting back in the river. I took other pictures and sent to Fish and Game they had to verify. I also caught that same day a 38" and a 40". And I had on what looked like the biggest one of the day 50" plus and lost it..Ever since the hurricane it messed up that whole area where I fish. Biggest I caught since was in the 30"s. Been hammering big bass haven't been Pike fishing much. Sometimes I regret letting the beast go, But I can still have a replica made, And know that fish is still out there for someone else to fight and it is only getting bigger..Good luck guys catch and release!!!!!!!!!

That's one to remember. I have tried the passaic near the rte 124 crossing in chatham and always came up empty but I aint givin up!
