10 year old takes pool WED Pert Amboy
 

my son of 10 years old took the pool fish today on the Sea Hawk. It was not his first fluke but his personal best of 4lbs & a pay day of $200. I told him to buy his mother something nice for letting him go and missing school. I really would have like to buy him a new reel w/ that money but I think it is going to pay off in the long run with a present. Great day with my son and the pool fish helps a lot. Going to hear about this for awhile.:)

BTW - that is exactly how it should be - the son outfishing the old man and taking the pool .

Nothing better then a kids smile with a fish and spending time with there father fishing - IMHO

Welcome to the site Chef. My bet is your son will be telling that story for a long time... That's a big part of fishing. The stories never get old and the fish always gets bigger.
