Seemed like a good day for topwaters. Went to a local spot tossing out a frog for a while. not much action besides blowups and no hookups. used a wacky worm here and there and got 1 fish after a while. continued with switching between frog/worm and dealt with alot of missed hooksets, bite-offs and pesky fish that nip the bait without taking the whole thing. switched to a popper and got 1 more. was thinking about leaving around 8:30, had my head turned for a second and heard something smash my frog, looked back at the water and saw a decent bass jump right on it a second time and hookup instantly. thats number 3 and was about to leave but couldn't resist a few more casts. wise decision :D got this one last bucketmouth and called it a day.
