Miss Belmar & Royal Miss Belmar blues & fluke
This morning on the Royal Miss Belmar, Captain Alan had a couple of drifts that produced a lot of action. We had 30-40 throwbacks and ended up with 7 keeper fluke, and a couple of nice keeper sea bass, with a dozen customers on-board. Amongst the keeper fluke were some real nice 4 pounders. Fishing is picking up and the action has definitely improved. Our pool winner was Pete Badawy from North Brunswick, NJ with a 5 lb fluke.
The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & again from 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. This morning on the Miss Belmar Princess, Captain Lenny fished north of shark river inlet. He did a lot of looking around and ended up catching a handful of small blues on a few drifts and one nice jumbo blue jigging on the rocks. We were using ava 27’s & 47’s, both plain and tailed. There was plenty of bait around, however, the fish did not want to cooperate today. Our pool winner was Clyde Mingle from Turbotville PA, with an 18 lb blue! The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & again every night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...lepa18blue.jpg Pool winner Clyde Mingle from Turbotville, PA with his catch! http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...ues2061213.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...ues3061213.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...uke1061213.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...uke2061213.jpg http://i1101.photobucket.com/albums/...uke3061213.jpg |
