Went down to the dock to meet Capt. Dave @ 7 am, but Super Storm Sandy is still playing havoc with the marina... couldn't leave until 7:30. Hit the first drop about 35 minutes later. I was using my new Garone rod and christened almost immediately with an 8 pound black fish.......broke my heart sending that one back!! Myself and the rest of the group Ted G., young Ted, Larry G and Kenny were on the fish solid for the rest of the day just short of boat max.
Thanks to Capt Dave and mate Nick for a great day on the water.
