Golden Eagle - Thursday Stripers & Blues

Capt Jim Elliott has the Golden Eagle out today and so far he reports that he was able to catch a Striper and lost a couple on the "live lines" and he made a move and is now catching Blues good. All the Blues have been on jigs.

I'll update the report later with pictures when he gets in.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for Stripers & Blues at 7:30am and we will be sailing for Nite Blues on Friday & Saturday nights at 7:30pm.

Well as stated above i had the boat out today. Made our live bait with ease rite out side our inlet. We gave that a good hour then headed to the north to try and get a BASS:rolleyes: Saw a couple swirls had a BASS on in about 5 seconds landed that one sniffed around a little more had a couple bites but no takers. Midmorning heard of some BLUES being Jigged around the Hook so away we went went. Found an area of BLUES swirling on top with some bird life mixed in and started slugging away drift after drift on the 2 pound model blues. We did that for a couple of hours made our way back down the beach tried again for some BASS no takers but a hump back whale kicking around enjoyed that show for about 15 minutes then headed for the dock. Great day on the water and a few fish caught for the bonus.

See Ya Tommorro

Capt Jimmy Elliott:cool:
