FISHERMEN/ The Bite is Back!!! Friday 5/24 Report

For all who listened to the weatherman once again (Scott), you missed a very nice bite today!

Good shot of fish with many keepers and some shorts for the action in the AM. Capt. Ron Sr. was hot landing 11 fish.

The young man who had the pool winner, fishing with a rod rental and after some instruction from the Sr. Captain, landed 5 beauties including a great 42 inch pool fish that made 29 pounds!! Couple limits and happy customers, doesn't get any better than that. Claimed another 2 Striper Virgins with a Father and son team.

Had to hang in there waiting for Doc to catch his two, but he did at the "END"of the day and went home with a nice dinner. ( sorry Doc, had to do it):)

Gail winds forecast for tomorrow.....yea right, will see. If it's fishable, we will sail. Like I always say, "Patience" pay's off. Way too many fish and bait around to throw in the towel.

Please don't ask me about "FLUKE"right now, I have way too many Bass left to catch and the way it's going, this could be the best Spring in a long time.

Thanks for checking in, and PLEASE, don't wait too long to come fishing!

Capt. Ron

Way to sneak the day in Doc. Cpt. Ron I guess you were fishing where the Sea Horse wasn't, check his post. He was the only 3/4 day boat fishing out of the harbor.:)

Seahorse said he was the only 3/4 Fluke Boat out today, Anchor Joe. Might be time to check the perscription on the glasses.

Forgot, there are Fluke fishermen and Bass fishermen. Make sure you use your spell check the next time. Prescription and not perscription, sounds like a deodorant:D.

Capt. Ron, I said in my report not to come Fri. evening trip which no boats sailed with the rain and the wind. I told everybody not to come today both trips. I just left the harbor and all the boats are tied to the dock. You know I love and respect you as a fisherman and I know you love to be out there. I just hate to see the people drive down and pay for tolls and gas for nothing. Don't get me wrong, I know these weathermen are wrong alot, I just knew they were going to get this one right looking at the rador. Anyway, it does suck big time, especially with it being a holiday weekend. Hopefully, we can salvage Sun. and Mon. T.T.U.L., Capt. Scott
