I know that this has been a rough coupe of weeks for the family and everyone close to mike, i have thrown the idea around to a few people very close with mike and the family and i am going to work to put something together in the coming months but i need a little help as i want EVERYONE involved, not just a few people.

I would love to get one together but i have no knowledge of starting one or running one, i am going to work with bobber on that and see if we can set something up for next year as well, because i think everyone who knew mike, met mike, or had any contact with mike, would like to see someone continue on for years and years as an annual event in his honor.

I'm with Vinny, I think a fluke tourny would take a bit of planning...... That being said I'm here for anything you need.

I would attend any of the 3 even though I suck at golf I don't mind playing.

here are my thoughts, poker tournament and casino night, bring your wife and enjoy a good night of good times, several hours in a nice venue, all types of casino games and a big poker tournament, if we can't get 100 people to attend then shame on all of you :D


We will get big prizes for door prizes, and for winning just like any other casino night except this will have a little twist. I am going to say we give actual merchandise prizes compared to doing cash money prized, take all donations, minus any actual costs, and donate it all to the family at the end of the night or the next day however that would work.


I think most of us, myself included, would rather win a 600 dollar rod and reel then a few hundred bucks since the money is going to such a great cause.

I have most set up just going to snoop around for a few different venues to have it and get some pricing set up, it will be very nice and an upscale venue but will be dress as you want, the way mike would want it ( DEVILS JERSEYS ARE VERY ACCEPTABLE, AS WELL AS GRUNDENS AND FISHING BOOTS)

I would do any of the above!! I really suck at golf .....so maybe I could drink and drive the cart till I could not drink and drive any longer. As I will certainly be wearing my game jersey!!
