Gr8 job!! way to get that river monster outta there, away from the wild fish.....Did you keep it or just move him??He would prob do well in the lower raritan...anyway gr8 catch wit the woopin stick:D

Nice fish!!! The murderer has been removed, hahahahaha! My buddies and I tried ice-fishing Solitude 4 years ago when it was solid, but coiuld not get on the Pike. They are in there, you can see em sunning them selves on a bright sunny day. Not many but enough to put a dent in the trout population.

Over the last 15 yrs er so i've seen them from solitude all the way up to budd lake, which is gotta be where they come from....Its especially startling when you see a three footer in the upper,upper SB where the river is maybe ten feet wide.....Take em out if you see them anywhere above clinton....From clinton on down , its rare for trout to survive the summer.....

I guess a few of them could come out of SR but those fish would not be able to get further north then solitude....I know for a fact that there are yr round resident pike at the hole in the wall...Probably some true monsters too:)

Wow.. I never knew pike were in the SB or budd lake.
