hudson stripers
 

ive got six keeper sized bass so far this season from the shore... all catch and release and caught on chunk and live herring. heres the three biggest ones so far, a 15, 16, and 12 pounder

thanks! the middle ones from the bank of the river and the other two are from the rondout creek which goes into the hudson

Beautiful fish !! Thanks for the Catch and Release, better than seeing them piled up on the deck of some boat. I have new found love for these fish since I see how far they travel each year. Great report !

Interesting stuff. I'll maybe take a few in the fall and that's about it. Love reading "slaughter" on the saltwater section :mad:

i dont see why they cant just net them instead of giving them the gaff, im sure theres people on the party boats that would throw some back
