4/25-Slow day but fun
 

Went out after work today (around 5:45PM) to see what I could bring in. On about my fourth cast this pickerel hammered my spinner. It fought like crazy, and my little Sedona 1000 got a bit of a workout :D. Caught a small largemouth a few minutes later, only about a pound, but it was energetic as well. Caught both on my go to rod/reel: Ugly Stik Lite 5'6" light action, Shimano Sedona 1000FS, 6lb. line. I was using a white Boo Yah Pond Magic; this lure rocks. It is missing about half of its skirts, the paint is damaged, and it swims like a drunken, three legged frog, but it still brings in the fish.

Sounds like a good time. I've got the Sedona 2500 and like it, no issues to report. 30lb PowerPro and it has handled Bass, Pike and Stripers just fine.
