Striper Trolling

I know the clam bite is crazy right now but is anyone trolling yet? My son likes trolling, I think it's because he gets seasick sometimes when the boat is anchored up so I was going to drag around a few Stretchs on Saturday. What do you guys think any any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Thanks

GG

I almost forgot, I am talking about Raritan Bay.

I hardly ever clam fish. Either troll or bunker. Trolling plugs has been great

Side note: take a baggie of candied ginger out with you...does a number on seasickness.

The bass are all over the Jersey side of Raritan Bay. We have been catching double digits every trip trolling.

Our friend tagged and released one on a plug that was in the neighborhood of 52 pounds yesterday (4/24) in the Bay.

Have fun with your son - that is what fishing is all about.

In the neighborhood of 52lbs sounds like it was weighed. That's a cow. Great catch
