Whats going on fellas? New to the forums... first post. But been reading for several months now

Just want to post up my first fishing trip which was yesterday night.

Fished at Cliffwood Wall, caught 3 shorties and one keeper of 29" JUST barely got it!

picture will be posted up as soon as I'm home (currently at work)


Started fishing around 7pmish?? Clams were being used and got hits within 5 minutes. Seems like small stripers. Got my keeper with a heavy hit. (all this was low tide)

Say around 9pm, bunker started 'popping' in the waves. Noticed my hits were decreasing...

Thinking i'll bring both frozen bunker and clams tomorrow night. See if that changes my keeps, and sizes.

Here it is! First keeper of 2013. just BARELY made it... but a keeper is a keeper! fed my parents and sisters well tonight :D

Big shout out to AndyS. Fellow co-worker, taught me a whole new perspective about fishing and the fundamentals of fishing.
Sold me some reels to get my feet in the water. I believe this is going to be a good (fishing) year.
