Nice Pike 4/16
 

Had the day off and wanted to get a few hours in so I picked up my buddy and launched around 8am from a popular spot with bridges. Slowly worked our way upstream till we came to a recently "posted" area just in time to see 2 guys launching and parking right next to the sign, hmmmm. Anyway, we kept going up until they came through gas motor and all. Decided to head back downstream just to see another large bass boat launching from the same posted area?? Wonder if anyone got ticketed.......

Anyway, had the downstream section to ourselves. After catching a small one each I managed to hook into a good fish. Great fight and, while holding it up for the pic, some guy driving over the bridge slows down and yells, NICE F'N FISH!!! Hahaha, good times. Nothing else the rest of the day, off the water by 1.

Nice dude. I was in that area last week with the kayak getting blown the eff around lol. It sucks that ramp is now "Posted". I bet its because of the people that own that run down, flooded out shack of a house next to it complaining. One time when we were launching over there, the guy working on the house yelled at my buddy because he supposedly pulled onto his property while backing the boat in :mad: .

I was thinkin they may be town "officials" who are not worried about being stopped and questioned by other town "officials"?? Or maybe they were just trying their luck in more ways than one.......

I parked at Home Depot a few weeks back and when I returned, was told by a worker can't park there to fish. Last fall I parked off Horseneck Rd and when I returned to my car there, I found a ticket on my car from Fairfield PD. It was a warning not a summons about parking on the shoulder. You have to be COMPLETELY off the shoulder(i.e off the pavement). I'm running out of places to park!
