Opening day High Bridge
 

Meet up with my son and grandson early and headed over to High Bridge to meet my brother and nephews. My brother and I grew up in High Bridge near the river and fished it often. The fishing was a slow pick all day. Butter worms, piece of night crawler or salt minnows did the trick, butter worms being the best. It was another great first day, in places my brother and I have fished for over fifty years. We caught near forty fish between us mostly brookies. The over 60 guys (my brother and I) out doing the under 40 guys at least 3 to 1. We're still teaching them and keeping a few tricks to ourselves. Hooray for the old boys.;)

Any time Eddie, you want to go to High Bridge or just fishing. How about shad, maybe we could have a get together.
