HI MEN, jig or bait? over the years(thirty five to be exact) a pattern has developed. april thru mid may the fish seem to ball up on the shoal edges of stellwagen in depths of 20 fathoms or less. jigs with various teasers produce very well. BIG MAC takes a liking to 16 oz. hammer jigs with 6 inch pink curly tails with a 6/0 or 7/0 hook. mid may on and well into the fall including trips to wildcat see a combination of jigs and fresh sea clams. chumming for haddock is critical. the pollock on wildcat prefer jigs with purple teasers. a few pics of LAST season on stellwagen. best, capt. jim
