HI GUYS, 1500 metric tons for the commercial, party/charter and rec sectors. recs., party/charter are allocated around 500 mt. which we did not attain last season. commercials take a 77% hit which is very hard. nine cod pp. with 19 inch min. size. captain and mate also allowed nine and on big mac we put that toward the customers total. haddock 21 inch min. size, no bag limit, pollock 19 inches no bag limit. you will be allowed 72 cod plus haddock and pollock, not a bad catch! also no possession of wolfish with no bag limits on hake and cusk. season opens april 16 and runs to nov. 1. best, capt. jim

Joe That is the day the Cod season starts. haddock & pollock are open year round. May 1st new size limit for the Haddock.

joey, i may have misrepresented the facts. haddock and pollock beside the size limit are year round fisheries. thay save us at times! best, capt. jim

nice to hear from you hollywood. not my dream boat but we will get by for this year. need to pick an expanded station with a few other guys. went out sat. with a friend, lots of cod- 13730, 44132, general area, all jigs, no problem. have a great season, will be in touch. best, jim
