ProGear's in the Surf?
 

Has anyone ever used a ProGear reel in the surf? I know the oldest versions of them had issues with corrosion, but I heard the last models they came out with were a lot better. I was looking at a 282 Albacore Special for night time Shark chunking. I know this might be just a bit overkill so I might just be looking at an MXL MC for it.

Any thoughts/experience with them?
