3/11 mixed bag
 

Hit a local lake from 4 to 6:30. Despite chilly water temps(43F) - even some ice still around - fish were really active. Ended up with 6 bluegills, 10 bass and 16 pickerel. No lunkers but I don't really care this time of year. I would've been happy just catching the bluegills!

BPS XPS Z Pop 2" Hardbait took all the sunfish and 8 of the bass. Black, 1/4 oz buzzbait took 13 of the pickerel. Very shallow pond(3' at most) so much so I could see every fish move to intercept the lures. Saw plenty also get scared away. lol. I must say although bass are fun to catch, I prefer chain pickerel torpedoing my buzzbaits as opposed to bass inhaling them.
