Looking to make some home made flounder chum, any suggestions ? Thanks

Re: Favorite Flounder Chum Receipes
Mussels, clam, cat food, all ground up, and cooked rice. Never understood the rice part but always did it, I've never seen a flounder at a Chinese restaurant but they seem to like it !:)

No corn? Always liked to throw whole canned corn in there too. Don't get cream of corn, made that mistake once, lol.

Like Capt'n Rich said, Ground Mussels, clams and cat food. Wile cooking the rice add some yellow food dye. And don't forget a sash weight on a line to bounce on the bottom to stir up the local resources and their attention.

Re: Favorite Flounder Chum Receipes
I ususually chum with whole mussels - fill up a bucket and crush them. Also throw a handful of corn way upstream so it hits bottom under the boat.
You dont want to feed them - you just want to get them in. |
