Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
I'm not much of a betting man but I'd put better odds on Sat. and Sun. Looks like clear and 50+ dregrees for the better part of the weekend vs Fridays 40* with rain and snow.
Get in while you can, streams close the 18th I think (except for TCA's) |
Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
Work and a christining this weekend Andy. Ill give it a shot, worst case I might get some nice snow pics.

Too much snow in Bergen County right now.

Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
Way too much snow - well over a foot of snow up here on the mountain in Sparta and still snowing like crazy... Oh well... at least it will stop in time for the Knee Deep meeting tonight.

Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
50+ for the next week, should make for some nice fishing. Hopefully get the water temps consistently into the upper 40's and wake these fish up a bit.

Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
I tried 2 spots yesterday and didn't get a hit in the 46 degree water. Turtles were in a pond in Central NJ. The only place that I caught fish this year was the Carnegie/Millstone but 3 other fishermen follow me around there, then fish next to me and expect me to give then all of the fish that I catch.

Re: Anyone trying to get out tomorrow ?
I'm going to try and get out tomorrow just to shake off the rust. Probably RVR or Duke Island Falls.
Reminder that Daylight Savings Time starts this weekend, longer fishing days ahead. :D |
