2 -16- Offshore Sea Bass Report
Another Offshore Trip – Another Limit Catch Day!

Giant Sea Bass and Jumbo Porgies along with a few ling and bluefish are still running strong on the 50 – 70 miles wrecks offshore of Brielle, NJ.

The season opened on January 1 this year. We have been out on calm days, rough days, and days when the ripping current would normally slow the bite down, but not this year.

Everybody had a limit of Sea Bass up to 7.5LBS and most had limits of Jumbo Porgies. It is already February 16 and we still caught a few bluefish offshore.

The pool winners were:
Adam Nowak from Passaic NJ with a 7.5LB Sea Bass and his limit of Sea Bass and Porgies.
Raymond Rascoe from Newark NJ with a 7LB Sea Bass and his limit of Sea Bass and Jumbo Porgies.

There are only twelve days left to the season and it looks like we will have good fishing.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving 11PM the night before.
We have also added a trip for Thursday February 28th, the last day of Giant Sea Bass fishing for the winter.

Right now it looks ok for the Friday trip & The Saturday trip. We canceled tonight (Tuesday).

I'm in:D Don't know when we'll be able to fish for these guys again after this season closes.:( The possibility of adding some porgies, cod, & Pollock just sweetens the deal.:D
